L&Q at Victoria Riverside is welcoming prospective buyers to a dedicated open evening event, offering the opportunity to discover city centre homes and learn more about stepping onto the property ladder in Manchester.

 

Taking place on Thursday 5th March 2026 from 5 to 7pm, “A slice of homeownership at L&Q at Victoria Riverside” will give guests the opportunity to explore the brand-new development in Red Bank, one of Manchester’s fastest growing districts. The development forms part of the first phase of Victoria North – one of the most ambitious regeneration schemes in the UK, which will deliver 15,000 new homes over the coming years.

 

L&Q at Victoria Riverside is a collection of 128 one- and two-bedroom Shared Ownership apartments, housed within the 18-storey City View tower. At the event, visitors will be able to tour the development and its impressive resident facilities including the co-working space, gym, concierge service, podium gardens and show apartment.

 

Adding to the relaxed, informal atmosphere, the evening will include pizza from Manchester favourite Rudy’s, as well as SERVED cocktails and soft drinks available. The event takes place following the development welcoming its first residents earlier this year, marking a key milestone for the first Shared Ownership homes within the wider Victoria North regeneration.

 

Shared Ownership is a government-backed scheme that enables buyers to purchase a share of their home – typically starting from 25% – while paying rent on the remaining share. Over time, homeowners can buy more shares through a process known as staircasing, with the option to eventually own 100% of the property.

 

Located a short walk from Manchester Victoria Station and the Shudehill Interchange, L&Q at Victoria Riverside offers excellent transport links across Greater Manchester and beyond, while being positioned on the edge of the city centre – within easy reach of Manchester’s thriving food, drink and retail scene.
