Manchester-based Apex Computing has reached a new milestone with the addition of a third Microsoft Solutions Partner designation. Building on its existing credentials in Modern Work and Infrastructure (Azure), the company has now expanded its credentials to include Microsoft Security, an achievement that places it among the top providers in the region.
This development highlights Apex’s capability to deliver comprehensive Microsoft-led solutions for all of its clients in the north of England and beyond. From strengthening cloud infrastructure to enabling more effective ways of working and enhancing cybersecurity, the designation reflects Apex’s ongoing role in helping local organisations adapt, grow, and remain resilient.
While it’s not uncommon for tech providers to achieve Microsoft Modern Work designation, demonstrating the advanced capabilities required to migrate and manage Azure workloads for the Infrastructure designation is significantly more demanding and less common. It requires clear evidence of real customer delivery, alongside ongoing investment in skills, assessments, and customer success.
For customers, like Krystal Clear Accounting, who Apex supported with a full tech infrastructure refresh necessitated by premises relocation, this translates into greater confidence that projects are delivered to a consistently high standard, with solutions that are aligned to Microsoft best practice and designed to meet their actual operational demands.
Achieving the Security designation in addition to earlier designations marks a genuine milestone, underlining Apex’s commitment to both customer service and technical excellence.
Security is a constantly evolving discipline. The nature of today’s technology landscape means that security provision can never be a “one and done” process; it requires constant attention, focus, learning, and validation, not only to reduce risk, but to strengthen protection and respond to incidents more quickly. Receiving recognition for its ability to deliver enterprise-level security solutions and support to all of its customers is an outstanding achievement for Apex. And means that clients, like Roma Finance, who contacted Apex after significant business growth left the company’s IT infrastructure underperforming, can be confident that their new infrastructure is not only secure now, but will remain so as the company continues to scale.
Daniel Shone, Founder and Managing Director of Apex Computing, comments: “This is a fantastic achievement for our team and something we’re really proud to have accomplished. We’ve always believed in investing in our people and building strong local relationships, because that’s what enables us to deliver the best results for businesses in our region.
“Gaining all three Microsoft Solutions Partner designations is a reflection of that commitment. It means organisations across Manchester and the North West can rely on us for trusted, high-quality support as they continue to modernise, grow, and protect operations.”
