Bolton Wanderers Academy players joined local families at a special football-themed community event in Horwich this week as Morris Homes celebrated the relaunch of its show home at Rivington Park.
Taking place on Thursday 2nd July, the free event gave visitors the chance to meet the footballers and take part in football activities and games, while enjoying refreshments and exploring the development’s newly refreshed four-bedroom show home. Guests were also among the first to see a unique football-themed bedroom created as part of the relaunch with the Bolton Wanderers players.
Located in Horwich on the site of the town’s historic railway works, Rivington Park has been designed with families in mind and offers a range of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes surrounded by landscaped green spaces.
The event brought together local residents, prospective homeowners and football fans for an evening celebrating family life and community spirit in one of Bolton’s most popular residential areas.
Rachel MacCutchan, Regional Sales Director at Morris Homes, comments; “We were delighted to welcome Bolton Wanderers Academy players to Rivington Park for this fantastic family event.
“Rivington Park is a development rooted within the Horwich community, and football plays such an important role locally. As such, we were thrilled to be able to give visitors the opportunity to meet the players, take part in football-themed activities and enjoy an evening of fun. We hope it created a memorable experience for all ages.”
Rivington Park benefits from a semi-rural setting close to local walking and cycling routes, while remaining within easy reach of Horwich town centre, schools, leisure facilities and transport links.
Horwich Parkway and Blackrod railway stations are both nearby, providing direct services to Manchester and Preston, while the development is also conveniently located for access to the wider North West road network.
Prices at Rivington Park currently start from £299,750 for three- and four-bedroom homes.
