Whitefield’s Stand Cricket Club is once again throwing open its gates for a weekend of great drinks, live music and community spirit as its popular Beer & Gin Festival returns from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June.
Now a standout event in the local calendar, the festival is promising its biggest edition to date, featuring 11 breweries pouring from 14 taps and a fantastic selection of local small-batch gins from six regional distilleries.
Here’s what festivalgoers can look forward to across the weekend:
- Friday 27th June
Kick things off with junior cricket training, followed by live music from The Bury Busker, a local favourite. Enjoy freshly made pizza from Cugini’s alongside other tasty hot food options - Saturday 28th June
The cricket heats up as Stand CC 1st XI take on local rivals Walshaw CC. Stick around for more mouth-watering food, a broad selection of drinks, and an electric live set from ‘Soul Food’, a 4-piece band bringing the soul, funk, and feel-good energy into the evening - Sunday 29th June
Ease into Sunday with a relaxed vibe and more live sport, including a friendly cricket match (details to be confirmed). The perfect way to round off a weekend of community fun.
