Castleford Lodge Care Home, a specialist residential, nursing, dementia nursing and respite care home in Castleford, West Yorkshire is under new management
Part of Orchard Care Homes’ portfolio of residences across the North of England, Cristina Mihaela Rachita takes up the role of Home Manager and brings with her almost a decade of experience in the care sector.
Originally from Romania, Cristina has worked in the care sector since 2013, starting as a care assistant and after obtaining her Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) pin number progressed to senior carer, nurse, senior nurse and deputy home manager before being appointed Home Manager at Castleford Lodge.
On her appointment, Cristina said “I always been passionate about care and wanting to bring a smile on others faces. I am very excited to be part of a great team at Orchard’s Castleford Lodge and look forward to working with everyone to provide a safe and secure environment for all our residents”.
Castleford Lodge is rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission and is located close to the centre of Castleford, offering services for residential and elderly as well as those with dementia who require more specialist care.
