This weekend (Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April), five star developer Barratt Homes is offering Thornton property seekers the chance to make a hassle-free move with Part Exchange at its Sundial Place development.
The Lydiate Lane development presents a range of three and four bedroom homes which are ideal for growing families set in the peaceful town of Thornton.
Current homeowners looking to purchase a luxury new build home should look no further than Sundial Place as, for the first weekend of April, they will be able to take advantage of the Part Exchange scheme for an easy move.
According to The Advisory, in 2019 it took on average around four to six months to sell a property and, as reported by Which, a quarter of all sales that are agreed will fall through before completion. With Part Exchange, homebuyers can achieve speed and certainty that the open market cannot match.
Philippa Stewart, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North West, said: “As a leading homebuilder, we aim to make the move as easy as possible for all of our customers and our Part Exchange scheme does exactly that.
“It guarantees a sale for your current property and customers don’t need to wait for months for their property to sell, which means they can move into their brand new Barratt home as soon as it’s ready.”
The scheme also means that purchasers won’t have to instruct an estate agent to handle the sale of an existing home. As many agents charge selling fees of between 1% and 1.5% of the sale price of a home, avoiding such fees could save hundreds or even thousands of pounds.
It also removes the worry that a buyer could pull out or that the chain could fall through. As the developer is buying the existing home there’s no chance of other people collapsing the chain. The Part Exchange weekend at Sundial Place will take place during opening hours on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April. Appointments will only be available through prior bookings.
