The Brain Charity is set to hold a Merseybeat themed fundraising ball on Friday 23rd September at the city’s Crown Plaza Hotel. The Liverpool-based charity, previously known as Neurosupport, has been providing emotional and practical help to people with neurological conditions and their families for over 20 years.

Host for the evening, comedienne Pauline Daniels, will be joined by Charlie Dower from the BBC show ‘Flog It’ and Adam Partridge’s Auctioneers to auction off some very special experiences including a week’s holiday in a 12 bedroomed chateau in France. Guests can also enjoy dinner and a fantastic line up of live bands playing Merseybeat sounds.

Nanette Mellor, CEO of The Brain Charity, said: “There are hundreds of neurological conditions out there and we are the only charity in the country that is here for every single one of them

“The Mersybeat ball is set to be a fantastic evening. I hope people will show their support in helping us to continue the valuable work we do across Merseyside and beyond.”

Tickets to The Brain Charity’s Merseybeat Ball cost £75 and are available online at www.thebraincharity.org.uk or by calling 0151 298 2999.
