Clair Heaviside, Co-Founder and Creative Director of multi-award-winning digital agency Serotonin, has secured finalist status for the prestigious honour of ‘Business Woman of the Year’, at the highly-regarded Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards 2023.

Clair co-founded Serotonin in August 2019, which now has a twenty-strong team based at the firm’s Northern Quarter office. The agency manages accounts and delivers campaigns globally, with projects including brand creation, brand repositioning and development, website design and build, strategy and execution of multi-channel digital campaigns. Clients cover a range of sectors and industries, from property to technology and engineering, hospitality and leisure, to health and fashion.

As Co-Founder and Creative Director, in addition to running the business, Clair is responsible for brand and creative strategy for all clients, and overseeing all creative output of the agency.

Outside of the office, Clair is a passionate trail runner and ultra runner. Last year on her 40th birthday she embarked on a 100km challenge in the Lake District, and didn’t stop there. Since then Clair has completed and placed in the top ten for marathons, trail marathons, an ultra, and most recently, completed a 75 km mountain race.

As an advocate for ‘Good things come to those who create’Clair explains her business motto: “From the people we work with, to the clients we work for, we know the best things come from creators, optimists, drivers, people who make things happen. We believe good influences make good things, and our agency journey is part of the story too. Through this motto we recognise that, even when things are tough, with the right mindset and purpose, the end result will be worth it. And that means the journey is too.”

 

Significantly, Clair is a proud Trustee of Haven, a charity that supports children and young people impacted by domestic abuse, and is a member of the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) NW Council.
