LJMU BUSINESS SCHOOL AND BRUNTWOOD LEAD SUPPORT ALONGSIDE LIVERPOOL FC
2030Hub’s Climate Impact Week dedicated to helping companies across the North West regions and beyond has been boosted by support from property firm Bruntwood and LJMU Business School.
A series of events beginning on Monday has attracted many businesses and organisations to sign up and hear about an innovative roster of events connecting climate change and nature to social issues for commerce, the consumer and future generations.
Being hosted at The Cotton Exchange in Liverpool, one of the Week’s highlights is a morning programme lead by a panel of experts including Liverpool FC’s Rishi Jain, director of impact.
Co-founder of the 2030hub, David Connor said: “Climate Impact Week connects to our core mission which is to accelerate sustainability at city-scale. Everyone on the panel which also includes Professor Miranda Barker OBE DL, CEO, East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, Professor Simon Bolton, Associate Dean for Enterprise, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange, Edge Hill University and Tony Bradley, Liverpool Hope Business School wants to achieve the same aims. It’s going to be one of the signature events of the Week.
“The event will help those attending to better understand tangible climate and nature risks and opportunities to business over the immediate and medium term. It will also enable leaders and their teams to learn about best practice examples and where to go for help, discover insight on impending climate and ESG regulation, and network with some of the most influential local sustainable business leaders.”
