A Warrington care home has maintained its CQC ‘Good’ rating following the new inspection process.

Three Bridges Nursing Home in Warrington (part of Orchard Care Homes’ portfolio) achieved the rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care, following an inspection and was assessed across five categories – safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and leadership, achieving ‘Good’ ratings across all criteria.

Offering residential dementia care and short-term respite care, the home promotes a person-centred approach to care that provides residents with independence, compassion and empathy and plays a vital role in the local community.

Val Marston, Home Manager at Three Bridges, is extremely proud of her team, saying “During the inspection, residents spoke highly of the care they received, describing the service as ‘a home from home’. This reflects the dedication and commitment from our staff to provide a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, wellbeing and comfort are of prime importance.”

David Williams, Operations Director for Orchard Care Homes’ North West Region, commented “I am very proud of the home for maintaining this prestigious rating, which recognises the hard work and commitment of Val and her team.”

Quality of care and invigorating best practice is at the forefront of Orchard Care Homes’ strategy and this latest CQC rating is testament to the group’s impressive record to provide the highest quality of care to its residents,  with 88.5% of its homes now rated ‘Good’ and a 5* Food and Hygiene rating across all of Orchard Care Homes services.”
