Lancashire housebuilder David Wilson Homes has unlocked the doors to its freshly dressed show homes at Inglewhite Meadow in Longridge.
The Archford and Hertford style show homes have been designed by Edward Thomas Interiors, and the team took plenty of inspiration from the local area of Longridge. The properties can be found at the Inglewhite Road community and the market town’s rural aspect and proximity to nature are prominent features.
Andy Richardson, Managing Director at Edward Thomas Interiors, said: “Much of the interior inspiration for the two show homes at Inglewhite Meadow came from local businesses and the wider Longridge neighbourhood.
“The market town has a thriving community with independent shops and restaurants, one of which is a café called Rise. Its pastel pink and earthy yellow branding inspired the colour palette for the Archford, where we’ve added neutral shades and wooden furniture alongside black accessories and light fittings to create a stylish home for a young couple or family.
“The kitchen and diner has a wall-mounted bar and artwork depicting foodie favourites, including Italian treats to honour the town’s newest gastro dining experience.”
Whilst offering three and four bedrooms respectively, the Archford and Hertford style homes are the perfect next step for growing families that need that extra bit of space. Alternatively, both homes offer a single bedroom that can easily be converted into a home office if need be.
Andy continued: “In the Hertford, the styling is all about encouraging connections with the outdoors. Longridge is surrounded by superb countryside and hilly walks, which we’ve reinterpreted through botanical print wallpapers and fabrics, plenty of decorative house plants and some statement furniture. We’d suggest looking out for the weather wood glass topped coffee table in the living room.
“Aimed at family living, this three storey home is perfect for entertaining. In the kitchen and diner there’s plenty of space for an eight-seater dining table, bar stools and a ladder shelf that we’ve made into a drinks cabinet.
“With French doors leading outside, the garden becomes an extension of the home and, here, we included a standalone wooden bar and sofa seating to encourage al fresco entertaining or summer evening drinks. The main and guest bedrooms offer calming retreats while the children’s rooms feature horse-riding and farmyard themes.”
Longridge is a pretty town sitting at the foot of Longridge Fell that offers an amazing variety of walks, including the Ribble Way, stretching from The Dales all the way down to the estuary. There is also a great range of shops nearby for residents to take advantage of, and homebuyers are just nine miles from the centre of Preston, making it an ideal place to live.
The development currently has a number of two, three and four bedroom homes available with prices starting from £292,500.
