Five star Cheshire developer has donated £200 worth of books to Nantwich Primary Academy ahead of International Children’s Book Day (Saturday 2rd April 2022).
Pupils at Nantwich Primary Academy, close to the developers Kingsbourne site have received a number of themed ‘wizard and witches’ reading books from the housebuilder to support them with independent reading.
International Children’s Book Day is celebrated to inspire reading among children, their mission from the beginning has been to inspire a love of reading and call attention to children’s books.
International Children’s Book Day has continued to promote reading and sharing of stories among children of all ages.
Philippa Stewart, Sales Director at David Wilson North West, said: “As a leading developer it is really important that we support the community in the areas in which we build.
“Nantwich Primary Academy is working hard to support its pupils in and out of the education environment, and we are happy to support them with the development of their reading skills and confidence.
