TWO new developments in Widnes are proving to be popular with local homebuyers, just one month after launching.
Redrow is currently building 479 new homes across two developments in the town, with 51 properties at Oak Brook Manor, off South Lane, and 428 properties at Mill Green Meadows, off Derby Road.
The developments, along with four show homes, were officially opened in November by Mayor of Halton Cllr Martha Lloyd Jones
Anna Evans, sales director at Redrow NW, said: “We’ve been blown away by the response we’ve received from buyers here in Widnes. We really do have something for everyone across our two developments, with great access to local shops, schools and health care facilities, along with public transport.
“Both developments are also designed with green spaces, plays areas and pocket parks, while being easy to get around on foot or by bike thanks to links with existing footpath networks to encourage greener travel.”
The selection of three, four and five-bedroom homes are all from Redrow’s Heritage Collection, featuring Arts and Craft inspired architecture and contemporary modern interiors with inbuilt energy efficiency.
Anna added: “While all eyes have been on Mill Green Meadows since the launch of our four new show homes, our smaller Oak Brook Manor development is also rightly attracting strong interest. With its setting on the north east tip of Widnes, next to open countryside, is boasts some of our larger designs.”
