Philip Ditchfield, a University of Bolton graduate, has been appointed as the Director of Digital Marketing at Manchester-based Red Cow Media, showcasing a remarkable career progression.

With a BSc in Product Design, Ditchfield honed his skills at the University of Bolton, where he benefited from the university’s focus on integrating practical skills with theoretical understanding. He says the curriculum, enriched by a faculty offering significant industry experience, prepared him for the complexities of the digital marketing industry.

Philip Ditchfield said: “When I came for an induction day at the University of Bolton to see the facilities I really liked the variety of the course, with CAD, drawing, marketing and design technology all highlighted.

“Some of the courses at other universities I visited seemed to be more theory based, whereas Bolton was a good blend of practical and theory.”

Ditchfield’s professional journey post-university showcases a gradual and determined rise through the ranks, underscored by a series of strategic roles leading to his current directorship at Red Cow Media.
