CMA-CGM, which is the third largest shipping container group in the world, has been based at the Peel-owned No.12 Princes Dock since its construction in 2005. The company currently occupies in excess of 27,000 sq. ft. across two floors at the waterfront offices.
The accommodation provides a modern five storey Grade A office building, with a full height internal atrium, overlooking the River Mersey and alongside the cruise liner facility. CMA-CGM was represented by Liverpool-based commercial property agent Worthington Owen for its new tenancy deal.
Liza Marco, Asset Manager at Peel, said: “We are delighted that CMA-CGM has renewed its lease term at Liverpool Waters to 2025. Liverpool is one of the world’s great ports and has a rich maritime heritage, so it is encouraging to see global leaders in the maritime sector selecting Liverpool Waters as an office location.
“As one of our long standing tenants, CMA-CGM’s on-going commitment is very important as we continue to grow the number and range of business that choose to base their operations on the waterfront.”
Liverpool Waters has a wide range of office types to service all business needs from flexible serviced office suites in The Quay to the forthcoming 81,225 sq. ft. scheme, No.5 Princes Dock. The provision of substantial on -site car parking, the excellent amenity offer and the beautiful waterside setting provide a unique working environment.
