Stockport residents and businesses are set to find it easier to learn about local services, events and community information across the borough.

It’s thanks to the relaunch of the Stockport Review EXTRA e-newsletter, meaning news and events will be delivered straight to your inbox if you have signed up to receive it.

The monthly bulletin comes as the paper edition of the Stockport Review moves to a yearly production starting in July 2017.

Cllr David Sedgwick, Stockport Councils Executive Member for Reform and Governance, said: “The Stockport Review EXTRA means we can communicate more effectively with Stockport residents and businesses while reducing the amount we currently spend.

“It’s clear that people want access to information and services in different ways. The Council website alone has had nearly 2m visits so far this year and we’re hoping this popularity will resonate with our monthly e-newsletter.

“Keeping residents well-informed is incredibly important and that’s why we’re keen for as many people as possible to sign up to the Stockport Review EXTRA.”
