The One Wolstenholme Square residential and commercial development in the centre of Liverpool is now complete, sales agent Experience Invest has announced.
Award-winning architects Falconer Chester Hall designed One Wolstenholme Square, which has an L1 postcode and is located in the heart of the city. It comprises of 447 residential apartments, along with commercial, leisure (cafés, gym, restaurants) and retail spaces.
The Elliot Group built the mixed-use development. It is made up of five blocks that wrap around three sides of the square, at the centre of which is the famous Penelope sculpture, which was created by artist Jorge Pardo.
One Wolstenholme Square is fully managed by the award-winning property management company urbanbubble, with three of the blocks already fully tenanted. Now operational, it is delivering returns for investors who own units in the complex.
Investors who acquired units at an early stage through Experience Invest, one of the agents selling off-plan units in the development, have benefited from up to 20% increase from their purchase price.
JLL forecasts that Liverpool property prices will increase by 19.8% over the next four years. Meanwhile, an independent survey of more than 500 UK property investors demonstrates the popularity of the city as a buy-to-let destination – 25% of UK property investors are considering investing in real estate in the city this year, making it the third most popular city after London (35%) and Manchester (33%).
