A new study into Spotify sleeping playlists show that BTS’ 2019 hit ‘Home’ is the song that we’re choosing to listen to, in order to fall asleep, with it being the most featured song across the sleep playlists analysed.
The research also found that the most popular artist featured across the playlists was Billie Eilish and BTS, with them both being featured the same amount of times.
Mattressman has delved into Spotify playlists containing the word ‘sleep’, ‘sleepy’ or ‘sleeping’ in the title to find out which songs, artists and albums are the most popular at bedtime.
Out of the 5,000+ songs that were analysed, BTS’ ‘Home’ beat out the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish and Jeremy Zucker for first place of ‘most popular bedtime song’. The top ten songs people are listening to to fall asleep are:
