The Bannatyne health club in Blackpool is appealing to members to help give local vulnerable children a treat this Easter.
All Bannatyne Health Clubs are collecting Easter eggs, and each has chosen a local worthy recipient to receive them with the Blackpool club nominating Brian House Children’s Hospice. In return the member will receive a complimentary day pass, to be used by a friend or family member before the end of April 2020.
Brian House is part of Trinity Hospice, which opened to provide palliative care for adults in 1985. Recognising the need for respite care for children with life-limiting illnesses, founder Dr David Cooper visited other children’s hospices and decided that the Fylde Coast should have its own facility, linked to the rest of Trinity for administration, catering and fundraising.
The club’s general manager Adam Pratt said: “We know that our members will be generous, as they always are when we support good causes.
“Bannatyne Health Club and Spa Blackpool prides itself on being part of the local community and we are thrilled to be able to support Brian House and donate some chocolate goodies.”
