Preston and Chester-based architectural, planning and building surveying practice, Cassidy + Ashton, has made a £1,100 donation to St Catherine’s Hospice after competing in a gruelling charity triathlon.

Planning Permission for New Market Hall Granted

· Construction of the new Market Hall is the third phase of the £50m Markets Quarter development.

· The new market hall and the overall plans for the new markets have been designed by Preston-based Frank Whittle Partnership working with market-expert architects Greig and Stephenson Associates.

· Frank Whittle Partnership and Greig and Stephenson Associates submitted the planning and listed building consent applications and will continue to oversee the project through to its completion.

· The consideration of Muse Developments planning application for a new 11-screen cinema, seven family restaurants and a multi-storey car park is ongoing.
