Leading Cheshire developer Barratt Homes has unlocked the doors to its freshly dressed show homes in Appleton.

The three bedroom Ellerton and the four bedroom Woodcote show homes are now open at the housebuilder’s Orchard Meadows development on Braeburn Drive. Designed by Irresistible Design, the homes’ interiors showcase a tremendous understanding of modern trends and complimentary colours.

In regards to the Ellerton show home, Vicki Slaney, Designer at Irresistible Design, said: “The Ellerton is a beautiful three bedroom family home in a serene setting. Wallpapers and fabrics were inspired by the area’s landscapes and the design boasts of contemporary tones combining nature and modernity.

“The colours used throughout are taken from a 2021 trend palette with the scheme taking influences from a fruit orchard, using soft terracotta, greens, and subtle greys to give a fresh but calm look.

“Finally, there could only have been one theme for the children’s room with the house being Plot 99: a colourful, playful ice cream theme. From lollipop wallpaper, a mobile trolley and lollipop hooks to a bed decorated to reflect an ice-cream cart complete with wheels and a stripey canopy, it is the perfect setting for role play for any child.”

Orchard Meadows is a peaceful semi-rural area with plenty of country walks close by. This has influenced the themes of the individual rooms and the choice of the colour palette used by the designers.

Of the Woodcote style show home, Vicki continued: “The interior scheme has a modern and contemporary feel which is complimented with a rich colour palette of navy blues, deep grey, and rich tan. We have used lots of wooden furniture to reflect the country rural setting, and glass and metal to provide a contemporary edge.

“The spacious main bedroom has been planned to also accommodate a reading area and dressing or workspace. The main feature of the room is a wall panel which has random and blurred lines, as if a river had flown through, leaving behind a subtle trace.

“Lastly, the two younger children’s bedrooms on the first floor are designed around the theme of magical characters and extraordinary sceneries. One is a music setting with woodland characters transforming the bedroom into a forest symphony, whilst the single bedroom has an airplane mural themed wall which transforms the concept into a dream.”

Michaela Lancaster, Sales Director at Barratt Manchester, said: “It’s always exciting to reveal new show homes and we hope these properties will be a hit amongst a range of house hunters.

“Having been expertly designed and styled by Irresistible Design, those who come to visit the show homes can be assured they will be up to date with the latest trends.”

Orchard Meadows has a range of three and four bedroom homes for keen homebuyers to reserve in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Whether weekend plans involve quiet countryside walks or a spot of shopping and a takeaway coffee, there is everything you would want within walking distance.
