Bury based law firm Clough & Willis has acted for GP Care Services Limited, the borough-wide provider of primary healthcare services for Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group, in its acquisition of The Village Medical Centre in Littleborough, Rochdale.
David Leviten – partner at Clough & Willis – handled the commercial property aspects of the deal; whilst Guy Lachlan – associate corporate commercial solicitor at the firm – provided company and commercial law advice.
Negotiations were conducted with the local Clinical Commissioning Group, the Care Quality Commission and NHS England for the two-stage handover for an undisclosed sum.
Financial and accounting advice was provided to GP Care Services by Peter Carlin at Thompson Jones. Funding was provided through Wayne Dixon at Barclays in Oldham.
The seller was represented by Lisa Geary and Ruth Griffiths at Capsticks and by Ramsay Brown & Partners for financial and accounting advice.
