Pareto Financial Planning, the award-winning financial services business based in the heart of Manchester, is pleased to announce the addition of three finance professionals to its growing team: Sarah Mullarkey, Holly Potts, and Mark Singh. Their diverse backgrounds and shared passion for delivering exceptional financial planning and client service further reinforces Pareto’s position as a leading provider of client-first financial advice in the UK.
Sarah Mullarkey, Independent Financial Adviser. Sarah joined the financial services industry in 2016 and has steadily progressed from an assistant paraplanner to a fully qualified Chartered Financial Planner. With experience advising clients across retirement, investment, inheritance, and long-term care planning, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for Cashflow Planning. “Cashflow Planning gives clients the confidence to help them live the life they want,” said Sarah.
“I was drawn to Pareto’s strong industry connections and by its clear commitment to community impact and staff wellbeing,” she added.
Holly Potts, Employee Benefits Consultant. Holly brings over 20 years’ experience in the employee benefits sector, having worked her way up from Group Risk administrator at Willis to Director of Client Services at Alexander Beard International Benefits. She specialises in Group Risk, corporate healthcare, and designing cost-effective benefit strategies that genuinely support employees.
“Pareto’s reputation is well earned, but what truly sets it apart is its culture,” said Holly. “It’s people-first, collaborative, and truly invested in helping colleagues thrive. I hope to mentor others and contribute meaningfully to both our clients and our internal team.”
Mark Singh, Independent Financial Adviser. Mark’s route into financial planning is as unique as it is inspiring. He previously worked with vulnerable young people as a sports coach and mentor in secure units across the UK, before pivoting to property investment and eventually joining the M&G Wealth Academy. In May 2023, he launched his own financial planning firm and now joins Pareto to be part of a larger, collaborative team.
“My proudest achievement is simply having the courage to keep moving forward, even when it’s uncomfortable,” said Mark. “Studying for my Diploma while raising a young family and working full-time taught me the value of sacrifice. Pareto’s culture and team spirit are exactly what I was seeking.”
With experience in pensions and retirement planning, Mark is excited to grow within Pareto and hopes to build introducer relationships to expand his client base.
Paul Stones, Managing Director at Pareto Financial Planning, commented: “We’re proud to welcome Sarah, Holly and Mark to the Pareto team. Each brings something unique, and their passion, professionalism, and people-first values align perfectly with our culture. As Pareto continues to grow, our people remain at the heart of everything we do.”
Pareto Financial Planning manages over £1 billion of assets and was named one of the Financial Times Top 100 Financial Advisers in the UK in 2024.
