Leading housebuilder Bellway continues its support of the local community in Congleton with a donation of £250 to Black Firs Primary School.
Located close to Bellway’s Somerford Gate development, on Black Firs Street, the school had made contact with several businesses in the area requesting support for its new playground.
With children from Somerford Gate attending Black Firs Primary School, Bellway was delighted to help out.
Jenny Bell, Sales Director at Bellway, says: “With the school located so close to Somerford Gate and children from the development attending Black Firs, it was the perfect opportunity for us to support the local Congleton community once again.
“A new playground is a big project for the school so it’s lovely to be able to make a donation towards it and play a small part in the project.”
Anna Jones, Head Teacher at Black Firs Primary School, adds: “We are thrilled to have received a donation from Bellway and really appreciate it when local businesses get involved and help with school projects, such as the new playground. We are always looking at ways to improve the school itself and the experience of the pupils and believe the new playground, which is now underway, will be a great addition to Black Firs.”
