Leading developer Barratt Homes has helped its residents with a £300 donation towards a Summer Street Party at its development, Sundial Place.
Located on Lydiate Lane in Thornton, the residents of Sundial Place came together to make arrangements for a street party for their new community. With over 70 residents and families in attendance, the development had a range of activities for everyone to enjoy on the day.
Featuring a bouncy castle, face painting, a raffle draw and a BBQ, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Barratt Homes’ Sales Adviser, Faye Mortimer, was in attendance to welcome residents and present the raffle prize donated by Barratt Homes.
Philippa Stewart, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes North West, said: “We are happy to have been able to support the residents at Sundial Place prepare and arrange their street party.
“Events such as these are fantastic as it’s lovely to see our residents coming together, and we hope there are more to come in the future.”
Sundial Place is currently 60% sold, with a range of three and four bedroom properties available.
Lead organiser of the street party and resident at Sundial Place, Garry Barnes, said: “We’re really keen to build a positive community amongst the residents here, and it’s great to see Barratt Homes is right behind us in doing so.”
“On behalf of all the residents that attended, we’d like to say a big thank you to Barratt Homes for its kind donation, which has helped make this annual event a huge success.”
