Homebuilder Miller Homes has announced the purchase of second phase of homes at its Prescot-based development, Sonnet Gate. A Full Planning Application has been approved for an additional 28 homes– alongside the 53 already in production.

The combined phases form part of a wider 700-unit residential scheme in the area, which includes a total of 81 homes to be built by Miller Homes. Work on the initial phase is already well under way, with the Show Home expected to open this spring and the first occupations following shortly after.

The Prescot development will bring a collection of 3 and 4 bedroomed homes to the area, as well as affordable options. The high-quality contemporary house designs will be in keeping with the local area and provide an opportunity for those looking to get on, or take a step up, the property ladder.

Jonathan Steggles, Land Director for Miller Homes North West said, “We’re looking forward to bringing new homes to the lively and aspirational area of Prescot. We will be working with the community every step of the way.”

The homebuilder has already teamed up with local primary school St. Mary’s and St. Paul’s CE to run a poetry competition, with the winner’s piece being incorporated into show home design.
