Leading e-trading solution, Open ECX, is celebrating its 10th year of success, with a series of promotions boosting the senior leadership team as the company continues to enjoy market growth.

Following a decade of success under founder Matthew Jones, the senior leadership team welcomes the internal promotions of Stuart Costello, Amy Dickinson and Andrew Froude, who have been promoted to Sales Director, Marketing Director and Chief Technology Officer, from Head of Sales, Head of Marketing and Product Director, respectively.

Both Costello and Dickinson joined the company during the pandemic and have since added immense value to both departments, in growing the team and further raising industry awareness for the solutions.

Further senior leadership promotions include Chris Mottram, who has been promoted from Head of Support to Head of Operations & Delivery, as well as Nick Hearn, who has been promoted from Account Manager to Head of Business Development, Amy Chouvin, who has been promoted from Sales Development Representative to Sales Development Manager, Adam Cattermole, who has been promoted from Sales Development Representative to Business Development Manager, and finally, Matthew Gibbons, who has been promoted from Client Success Representative to Account Manager.

A decade since Open ECX was founded in 2012, the team has experienced impressive growth and the company is now an established leader in construction technology and its associated supply chain, working with names such as Grundfos, Wolseley and NG Bailey. Offering digital solutions to problems caused by traditional processes in the industries they work with, Open ECX’s eHub, including eInvoicing and eOrdering systems, revolutionise the way businesses operate. The Open ECX community is ever-growing, and the retained customers are testament to this. Scott McLennan, Head of Financial Accounting at CALA has praised the service, saying “If similar to us, you’re a business processing a huge amount of invoices, looking to reduce the cost and efficiencies associated, I would highly recommend exploring eInvoicing by Open ECX.”

The recent appointments follow two consecutive years of significant growth at Open ECX, with an impressive 40% increase in staff since the pandemic in the commercial, development and management teams, which signifies a strong future ahead for Open ECX in 2022 and beyond.

Founder of Open ECX, Matthew Jones, is looking forward to the future of the business with the newly appointed team in place, commenting: “We’re thrilled to be celebrating a decade in business, within those 10 years we’ve enjoyed a number of successes and learnt many lessons. The accomplishments we have experienced since founding the business would not have been possible without the efforts of our employees, and the recent internal promotions will reward those who have had a significant impact on this over the past couple of years.”

“I look forward to working closer with Stuart, Amy and the rest of the team in 2022, expanding Open ECX into new markets and building on our success for another 10 years.”
