Local homebuilder Miller Homes is today announcing a successful feat at its Somerford-based development, Turnstone Grange, which is now 90% sold.

The development has now sold the majority of its 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes since launching in 2019.

Of the purchasers, 35% were first-time buyers and 27% used the Help to Buy scheme, suggesting that the homes at Turnstone Grange are ideal for those wanting to venture on the property ladder for the first time. The 2 and 3 bedroom homes were more popular with younger buyers, with 70% opting for this type.

The development is ideally situated for commuters, with bus links to Macclesfield, Crewe and Newcastle-under-Lyme, and trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Stoke-on-Trent, running approximately hourly, stopping at Congleton. The trip into Manchester takes around 40 minutes, and there are connections at Stoke-on-Trent for London Euston.
