Young professionals including lawyers, property experts and accountants from across the region came together for a new networking event in Chester aiming to help people connect as lockdown restrictions continue to ease.
The ‘Chester Young Professionals Networking’ event – reinvigorated by law firm Aaron & Partners, will be held monthly at venues across the city and aims to bring a new generation of young professionals together.
Some of the region’s leading businesses were represented on the evening at The Botanist in Chester, with attendees from Champion Accountants, Savills, gap personnel and BA Commercial amongst others.
Lewis Stephenson, Business Development Executive at Aaron and Partners said: “As someone who has attended many networking events, I know how important it is to have a good network of people you can call upon. With the challenges we have all faced during lockdown, we felt it was the right time to create an opportunity that focuses on giving young professionals the chance to meet and build relationships with like-minded people.
“After more than a year without events taking place, it was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout with people attending from a range of businesses. We’ve received some great feedback so far, and I’m hoping the next event will be even bigger and better. The evening was really relaxed, and The Botanist was a fantastic venue. It’s fair to say I’m looking forward to the next one.
“I know that there will be a lot of young people in and around Chester who are keen to get back out to events, or who want to attend their first networking event, so we’d encourage everyone to come along to our next event.”
