Shortlist announced for the eviivo Awards 2019
Thirteen of the best places to stay in the North West recognised on national shortlist
Thirteen of the North West’s finest independent accommodation have been shortlisted for the 2019 eviivo Awards, the ‘Oscars’ of the UK’s independent accommodation sector, across a variety of categories including Tastiest Breakfast, Budget With A Twist and Quirkiest Place To Stay.
The eviivo Awards, now their sixth year, recognise the best of the UK’s world class B&Bs, guest houses, inns, serviced apartments, self-catering units and small independent hotels from across the country.
This year’s shortlist has seen over 100 properties make the cut, with the following North West based establishments reaching the final stages of the process of these coveted awards.

Over the coming weeks these shortlisted establishments will have their applications judged by a panel of industry experts. The winners will then be announced at the annual eviivo Awards ceremony on 15th October 2019 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
These independent accommodation businesses represent the pinnacle of UK and particularly North West hospitality, providing some of the country’s most memorable holiday experiences in a variety of settings.
eviivo reports that last year’s award winners and nominees have seen a 12% increase in bookings, and 22% in revenue YOY.
Zoë Dawes, leading travel blogger and judge for the Quirkiest Place to Stay category comments: “Running a quirky and characterful B&B, or a collection of modern city centre apartments, is demanding and requires multiple skills, hard work and dedication. These awards help to shine a light on and identify the finest businesses within the UK’s hospitality sector.”
Sarah Alexiou of Woolmarket House, Chipping Campden, Most Beautifully Presented Award Winners 2018 comments: “The interest generated in Woolmarket House since receiving the Most Beautifully Presented award almost 12 months ago has been remarkable. The eviivo Awards take place on the 15th October at Grand Connaught Rooms on Great Queen Street, London.
