Britain’s Got Talent and Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer act comedian Daliso Chaponda has extended his debut stand up tour, ‘What The African Said…’ for the third time this year taking it into the autumn. The Zambian born comic was a stand out star from last year’s show, capturing the nations hearts and garnering over 8 million Facebook views and 9 million on YouTube. Following his initial 52 dates, the ‘What The African Said…’ tour now adds another 14 shows, starting on Friday, September 28th at Torquay’s Babbacombe Theatre and culminating on Thursday 22nd November June at Kettering Lighthouse.  In a very busy year, Daliso also starred in his own critically acclaimed Radio 4 series entitled Daliso Chaponda: Citizen Of Nowhere (‘erudite, refined – and extremely amusing’ The Times).

Daliso’s festival appearances have included Melbourne, Edinburgh, Singapore and Cape Town. He is also a prolific fiction writer and has had his science fiction, murder mysteries and fantasy fiction published in numerous magazines and anthologies. He also co-wrote a play recently that aired on BBC Radio 4.
